Standish involved comprehensive earthworks for a new housing development. We commenced with a full site strip, followed by a cut and fill operation to achieve the specified levels for pile mats and individual plots. This ensured the site was prepared to the exact requirements for subsequent construction phases. We were present on site over a number of visits to assist with a vast amount of earthworks.
To support the project sustainably, we supplied a range of recycled aggregates sourced from our CDE Wash plant facility in Chorley. Utilizing locally recycled materials not only reduced fuel emissions associated with transportation but also aligned with eco-friendly practices by opting for recycled over quarried aggregates.
Additionally, we undertook the regrading of a 5,000m² attenuation lake, enhancing its capacity and functionality. Upon completion, the site was left fully prepared for the groundworkers to commence slab construction, ensuring a seamless transition to the next phase of development.
