In a recent fast-tracked project, we were engaged to relocate 10,000m³ of material within a housing development site. The task involved transporting the material across the site and distributing it into three designated stockpiles. Additionally, we were instructed to identify and remove any hotspots, which were promptly excavated to ensure site safety and compliance.
To facilitate the creation of one of the stockpiles, we conducted a vegetation scrub and grubbing exercise. This process entailed the removal of trees, shrubs, and other vegetation, followed by the extraction of stumps and roots to a depth of at least 0.5 meters below the natural surface, as per standard earthworks procedures .
Despite the project’s tight 10-day deadline, our team mobilized a substantial fleet of machinery to maintain efficiency and meet the client’s completion date. A final push before the Christmas break ensured the successful and timely delivery of the project, satisfying our client’s expectations.
