At Ashworth Hospital in Maghull, we delivered a comprehensive earthworks package to support infrastructure upgrades. We were appointed as the earthworks contractor for the greenfield site, preparing it for a new hospital unit. Our scope of work commenced with a topsoil strip across the site, followed by a reduced level dig to achieve the required formation levels. To manage storm water effectively, we installed an attenuation tank using attenuation crates. Additionally, we imported stone to form a robust piling mat, providing a stable base for future construction activities. Upon completion of the excavation and installation works, we meticulously levelled all excavated materials into a tidy POS area, preparing the site for the next phase of development. This project demonstrates our capability to transform greenfield sites into well-prepared foundations for complex healthcare infrastructure.
